What is Boo?

In a couple of weeks, we're going to find out if Boo is a boy or a girl (assuming Boo cooperates). I know everybody has an opinion on what they think it's going to be.

Here's Boo at 7 weeks before Boo even knew its gender.
So friends and family, I want to know what you're thinking. And I'd like you to leave your opinion here, so Dave, Boo and I can have something to go back and reread your thoughts. Please let us know your guess. There is no prize for getting it right...but you can brag all you want.

If you've never left a comment before. It's easy. I even switched up the comments, so you don't need any sort of account. At the bottom of this post, there is a link that says 0 Comments (or whatever that number is). All you need to do is click on that link. In the comment box that appears, leave your guess. Right below the comment box, there is a drop down where you select the profile you're using. If you don't have a Google or any of the other accounts listed, choose anonymous. (But if you're leaving the comment as anonymous, be sure to leave your name in the comment box, so we know who you are.) Then just click the "post comment" button.

Thanks, everyone! I look forward to seeing your guesses!

J.B.

  4. Boo is a girl (because why would Dave follow his sisters pattern of boys first?) I know this means extra girls on your side Jenny.

  5. I think Boo is a boy. But I'm always wrong so I guess girl. :) haha but I vote boy. and Jenny I think you should put up some belly pictures. It's the only time in your life where no matter what you look like, everyone loves seeing that growing baby in you! :)

  6. My guess is a boy -- I am so thrilled to have had my boy first-- There's nothing like watching your husband wrestle with his son, but then you get the hugs and snuggles too!!

  7. Grandma Mary says Boo is a BOY! Just have thought so all along! But..grandma Mary is "in love" already with Boo...so boy or girl doesn't matter!

  8. Auntie Rachel says I flipped a coin and it said girl. It would be nice to have a little boy in the family though.

  10. Kelly family predictions:
    Dad-Girl
    Mom- Girl
    Krissy- Boy

Mom and Dad think girl because of the numbers of sisters Dave has. I think boy because i want to be different and I love that you can be a powerful woman in a house full of boys!

  11. I think it might be a boy, but it could be a girl since we have lots of girls in the family. Thus the odds seem to be in favor of a boy, but I will be happy for you either way. We look forward to seeing Boo's next picture. Great blog by the way!

  12. Hey guys..Pappy here.. I know it is no surprise to you that I believe Boo to be a girl. Mostly to history of the families, but more from the feeling I have. I know God has some great things planned for us and Boo too.
    I LOVED SEEING YOU!!

  15. Stevie agrees with Pappy and looks to the family history. According to science, the male's chromosome determines the sex of the child, so this one's up to Dave. Seeing as Pappy's first born was a girl, I'm going to vote that his son will follow in his footsteps. Though it would be nice to have some more boys in our female dominated family.

  16. With the history of the Balow family the last generation was mostly girls but this generation has been mostly boys, so it that continues to hold true it will be a little "TWIN" or "VIKING"!! I am going to go with a boy.
