Isn't it annoying that if you don't exercise for a week that the next time you go to the gym it feels as if you're completely out of shape and back at square one???

Yeah, that's what happened to me yesterday! It was such a struggle to run just two miles, and I was able to run 13.1 miles just two months ago!

How do you find time and the motivation to exercise everyday, so you don't have to deal with the feeling of being completely out of shape and can feel like you're actually getting in better shape?

  1. How I motivate myself to exercise is to remember what it feels like when it feels crappy after a week off. Then hopefully I keep exercing so it does not feel bad.

    (This does not always work...kind of similar to the fact that eating a scoop of ice cream can make my stomach hurt, but I will do it anyways occasionally because I like the ice cream).
